We would like to welcome our new and returning students to our 2016 – 2017 classes. We look forward to teaching your children the joy of dancing ~ building self-esteem, grace, and motivating them every step of the way. We will continue the high standards of teaching Mrs. Rosemary has always bestowed on her darlings.
At this point we would like to review some of our policies and procedures. They are as follows:
DRESS CODE: Black, ballet pink & suntan dancewear with proper dance shoes. Hair should be pulled back.
BALLET: Students must wear a black or light pink bodysuit with ballet pink tights. Ballet skirts & legwarmers are optional and must be black or light pink. Black dance shorts may be worn over the tights. NO loose clothing.
MODERN: Students must wear black bodysuit with black, light pink, or suntan leggings, footless or convertible tights or dance shorts. Black fitted shirts optional. NO loose clothing. Foot undies may be worn as well.
JAZZ, HIP-HOP, MUSICAL THEATRE, IRISH STEP, OR STREET TAP: Any of the above attire or black leggings, tights or dance shorts and a black fitted shirt. NO loose clothing.
TUITION: Tuition must be paid on or before the first class of the month. The tuition envelope should be given to the secretary containing the tuition BEFORE the class begins so that the secretary has time to mark the envelope, take attendance and make change if necessary. The envelope is returned to the student at the end of the lesson.
(Please no checks) ~ Credit cards are accepted for tuition with an additional $5 processing fee.
ATTENDANCE: Trophies, medals and certificates are awarded in June for dedication and achievement. If a student can not attend a class for any reason, the secretary should be called and a make-up/ alternate class will be given. Alternate class schedule is announced mid fall and will also be posted on our website. Any time you’d like to come in and catch up or need a little extra help, please feel free to take an additional alternate class on us. ☺
OPEN DOOR POLICY: Parents are welcome to observe from the designated carpeted area in each classroom as long as it’s nice and quiet. Please respect that it is a classroom and only one parent should attend. Please do not bring guests, as space is limited and it becomes distractive to the students. A guest is welcome during the holiday lessons with Santa or in the spring with the Easter Bunny. Photos may be taken during class of your child only. Please be courteous of those around you. Please do NOT post any pictures of other students OR the faculty on any means of social media without their consent.
It’s a privilege for us to teach your darlings and along with our devoted faculty we feel blessed to be able to continue with our mom’s legacy ~ teaching the art of dance!
On behalf of our staff, thank you for your cooperation and we wish you a happy, healthy and wonderful year of dance!
